As per the CDC guidelines, wait 24 hours before cleaning to reduce the chance of being exposed to any potential respiratory droplets. This allows any droplets to evaporate and makes it much less likely that anyone who is cleaning will come into contact with droplets that carry disease.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had an opportunity to show our appreciation for front-line and essential workers that are working so hard to keep our communities healthy and safe. However, there is one group that is fighting COVID-19 on the frontlines that may not immediately come to mind, and that is the janitorial and cleaning staff that have taken on an important role in keeping hospitals, businesses, and community spaces disinfected and clean so that we are able to safely access services and support other front-line staff.

Janitorial workers can often be under-appreciated in the best of times – not many people take the opportunity to stop and thank their janitor, and many work when buildings are closed for the evening, making this important service go under the radar.

We have always prided ourselves on building personal, trusting relationships between our cleaners and our clients, and this is all the more apparent during times of uncertainty. Our cleaners are more committed than ever to serving our clients diligently and thoroughly, and our janitorial staff have felt the appreciation and gratitude from their clients in return.
